I just want to see if anyone experience this before. I know it could come from many reasons.
I have a Windows Server 2008 running in a VM Workstation 9. I set up IIS and a website. Running Port 80 is fine. I added a certifcate and set up port 443. I set SSL to Ignore. When browsing to https://localhost/mywebsite/ it works. And when I set the SSL to Require. It fails with:
This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.
My question, does VM reserve port 443 for itself? Thanks.
